Attending the NAPAHE 36th Annual National Conference in Washington, DC? Tickets now available for Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center

Purchase tickets today to enjoy an interactive comedy whodunit that lets the audience solve the crime! Set in present-day Georgetown, Shear Madness engages locals and visitors alike as armchair detectives to help solve the scissor-stabbing murder of a famed concert pianist who lives above the Shear Madness unisex hairstyling salon. The show combines up-to-the-minute improvisational humor and a mixture of audience sleuthing to deliver a unique performance each night.

With more than 13,500 performances at the Kennedy Center, Shear Madness is the second longest-running play in the history of American Theater.

Tickets are $45 per person and do not include transportation to/from the Kennedy Center.
The performance begins at 8:00 p.m. ET, and the show is 2 hours, with one intermission.

All tickets are final, non-refundable and non-transferable.

2023 Conference Grants

Up to two single grants (valued at $1,000 each) will be awarded to current NAPAHE members that either do not have the funds to attend the 2023 conference, or have never attended a NAPAHE conference in the past. Preference will be given to applicants who either serve in or have served in the president's office.
The application period is open Oct. 10, 2022 through Jan. 13, 2023. Click here to apply.
