Apply to Become A Peer Mentor

The NAPAHE Professional Development Committee is thrilled to announce the launch of a pilot peer-to-peer mentoring program, Peer Connections, in March 2021. Sometimes you just need to talk to someone who understands what you are going through, who can offer objective advice, share experiences and expose you to resources you might not be aware of.  In most institutions there is only one person who understands your role – YOU; but at NAPAHE, there are over 500 of us!

Applications to become a peer mentor are available to active NAPAHE members here. The deadline to apply is April 16, 2021.

The pilot program is limited to the first 50 applicants, and peers will be matched based on similar professional interests and challenges, institution type and size, and role.  After participants attend an introductory group orientation meeting on the date of their choice (either May 17 at noon EST or May 28 at 1:00pm EST), they will be asked to set up recurring monthly meetings with their peer mentor match for six months (through October 2021).
